270,000 sf corporate headquarters building in downtown Chicago. Complete gut and reconstruction on a highly accelerated schedule. From start design the project team had only 12 months to design, permit, build and occupy the rebuilt building. A totally new skin over existing 1946 concrete structure.

16-story, 860,000 sf concrete loft office building located in the West Loop of Chicago's business district. Beginning in early 2013, design was started on the renovations which include a newly designed lobby and retail level, rooftop amenity rooms and outdoor space, improved tenant common areas and updated building systems.

105,000 sf Ambulatory Care Center, developed by Sterling Bay for Loyola University Medicine includes primary and specialty practice groups such as, ENT Specialty Clinics, Rehabilitation Services, Imaging, Sleep Lab, and general medical office suites. Loyola University Medical Center occupies the entire building with their primary care and specialty care clinics and outpatient rehabilitation and imaging services.

140,000 sf 5-story, medical office building including core and shell as well as tenant improvements. As the first new construction project in this established neighborhood since 1978 the project proceeded after a series of sensitive public planning hearings. This challenge was coupled with the need to mix in-patient and out-patient functions to the adjacent bed tower.

132,000 sf ambulatory care center was developed as the new outpatient portal on this existing and well-established campus. The building has a connecting link back to the main inpatient hospital building. This link and associated parking expansion establishes the north side of the campus as the front door and branded image for the medical center.

Freestanding Emergency & Imaging Center
30,300sf replacement of an existing 7,500 sf Medical Office Building with a larger Medical Office Building The project includes phased construction of the new facility and relocation of the existing physician practices so as to limit any lost time to the practices. The new two-story facility has a Freestanding ED, Diagnostic Imaging Center and 14,000 sf of general practice physician suites.

Planned retail center on the grounds of the town’s central cricket pitch. Negotiated with the Crown’s Estate Commissioners for entitlement of land that was located at the base of the oldest Roman ruin in Britain. Plan was the basis of revitalizing the 18th and 19th Century seaside town. Owned by Speyhawk Development.

129 room business travel hotel. Early example of specialty sector hotels for business travel. Required rezoning in an area with strict entitlement /development policies and architectural controls in place. Negotiated construction contract helped with schedule burden.

60,000 sf Renovation of patient tower near historic town center to include 1 floor of memory care and 2 floors of Assisted Living. All amenities were located on first of 7 floors. Challenging repurposing of older inpatient building.
